If you know me you know that i love kids. Indian children are no exception. There is something so incredible about them… their energy.. their smiles… the things they do. Maybe I’m just a sheltered westerner or maybe i was raised on National Georgraphic.. but these little humans draw me wherever i go.
They are everywhere…. Playing Cricket in the streets with sticks and bricks…. holding on to kytes on rooftops… and sitting on the handlebars of bicycles and motorcycles.
India is a poor country… and i know that i have not seen the wealthy side yet… but the poor street kids that i see are a tru testament to the spirit of youth. They play, laugh, fight, act jolly.. just the same if not more than their tv and fast-food fed American counterparts.
