Wow, its been 31 days since my last confession.
I apologize, mainly to myself, for not keeping this journal up while I’ve been in LA. I have so many good reasons tho…
1) My nephew is the man!
Ok, that’s not really a reason…. but can you blame me for putting him first
2) Dopetracks is doing great.
I’m especially proud of our producer contests, the facebook app, and the new community section. In the last few months alone we’ve seen some really amazing talent on the site - and that makes me really happy.
My other clients are doing well too, thanks for asking. I can’t really reveal who they are… but you could figure it out if you really wanted to. Here’s a little snow engine I built during a project for my friends at Spa Ritual - a vegan beauty products company.
3) I’ve lost my camera!
I suck. I left it at the Delta gate in LAX. At least someone out there got a nice early Christmas gift. So, I’ve been camera-less for the last month. These are the last few pictures I took with it (it was the day of the malibu fires.)
2.5) Oh yeah… i lost some DVDs with original images from India & Nepal. Which has probably been the biggest bummer of them all… this has significantly impacted the timing and outcome of my book project becuase some of my favorite pictures are now unprintable, forever. :(……..
3) Music, Music, Music
As usual, when I have access to my own computer, I’ve been making music non-stop… In the last 3 month I’ve had the pleasure of on production and remix projects with some of my favorite people… Herwig of New World Revolution, Ran & Frank from the Joint Committee, AMIT, and Crazy Dave aka Lazy Slave. I’ve also made a Flash Gordon mashup. The nice thing about LA is that you have to be in your car a lot… prime music listening time!! I’ll share all of this and more sometime next month after I’ve had the chance to finalize, convert, and upload everything.
So what’s next?
More life. More travel. More music. More web design. More Ron.
